Pull the lever at the bottom to open a shortcut to the other side of where you started, and head through the fog door to defeat the Phalanx. Pull the lever to trigger a cutscene that shows the big gate opening and then head down another set of stairs to the ground level. On the other side of the bridge keep going ahead until you go back inside and find a lever just inside the door. There'll be a red dragon here so time your run to avoid it and get over the bridge fast. Attack the wood holding the boulders inside this structure so they roll out and kill the enemies ahead, and then keep going until you reach a bridge. Go through the fog door at the top where you'll see a big wooden thing ahead. Keep going straight ahead and you'll see stairs that lead up. Now go back and head through the fog door. Halfway down you'll see a platform leading outside where you can cut two chains that will open up a shortcut at the bottom where you originally turned left at the beginning.

It's worth opening a short cut here just in case you die so head past the the fog door and make your way down a long series of stairs. Keep following this path until you get back outside, on the castle walls. Keep going around to the left, up the stairs, past the giant hole in the ground and through the door. It is also possible to technically run the game at an unlocked frame rate and cap at 120 FPS but there is an issue with how the game operates that makes this method a little troublesome.

Once you see a health bar appear after a fired arrow, you’ll know you hit the dragon.From the start, head up towards the castle and take the left path. Demon’s Souls was already emulated on PC but thanks to a series of new updates, now the game is playable at 4K and 60 FPS with an update.

The Red Dragon will swoop down periodically and rain fire across the bridge, burning everything in its path.
The level boils down to a long bridge, littered with dreglings and humans, but there’s a catch. With this method you’ll kill the Red Dragon in Demon’s Souls without a hitch.Īfter you beat the Phalanx boss in 1-1, you will gain access to the next level, The Lord’s Path. This method includes using your strongest bow and a TON of arrows.
Now, what I recommend, is typically regarded as the easiest way. But, there is an actual way to kill the fire breathing beast.
Naturally, your first instinct will be to run as far away as possible from its fire. The Dragon stands as, one of the earliest environmental hazards that will prove troublesome. There is a way to actually kill the Red Dragon in Demon’s Souls.
